Project: Consultancy support to develop a fundraising case for support for the British Museum’s new Collections and Archives Centre in the old IKEA building in Coventry

The British Council was seeking investment for a new national centre for Collections Care and Conservation in Coventry to house its collection of 9,000 works of art, representing 1,500 British artists.  I compiled an extensive report including the current use and future potential of the collection and how the new Collections Care and Conservation Centre would help to deliver the aims of the British Council’s global arts programmes.  This entailed detailed budgeting, timelines and designing packages of fundraising programmes to engage a range of donors – including benefits and naming rights strategies.
